Friends

We'd spent the last few days sweeping up a Triaminic deal at Walgreens and a bunch of good sales at the grocery store (free milk! and a whole cart full of groceries for $6.09!) but today I got to take the kids over to our friend Elsa's house in the morning. The kids just loved being able to run and play. There's a little circle in her house, through the kitchen, then the dining room, living room, and back to the kitchen. They kept going around and around, catching each other and chasing each other. They had a blast. And I enjoyed just getting to visit with Elsa and not having to worry about kids running in opposite directions in a large and crowded museum. It was a nice morning. And Elsa and I got together again this evening after the kids went down, just spending a little longer catching up. It was so good to get to visit with her.

We've only got a few days left in Seattle. My mom is leaving on Saturday to start her drive home. I know the kids are going to miss having Grandma right across the street. We're heading down to Portland this weekend too. Luckily that's not a long drive so we may still be able to do a big family thing here on Saturday before we go. We'll have to see what our options are!

I just want to say I love your blog. I have been following you for awhile. I first came across it when we were doing research for our trip to colorado... and realized you are doing what we are about to do. We are selling our house and living in a 5th wheel. We are in the beginning stage but it's nice to see another family doing this with toddlers (we have a boy age 2 and girl age 1)... both mine are a bit younger than yours. If we end up on the road in the next 6 months I'd love to meet up with you guys have let our kids have a play date... and you guys can tell us about your travels. We're in upstate NY now but we'll be heading straight west once we get on the road. You can check out our blog. Leave us a comment (we're new to blogging and love getting comments!!!) Thanks, good luck and have fun!!

so i have another comment... a question more or less this time. I saw your picasa album and have been trying like crazy to add one to my blog. I know you have blogger and I have wordpress, but I wondered if you know the trick to add it. I have created a slideshow and have the whole html code, tried to paste it in my widgets but it wont let me. It deletes everything when I hit save. Just thought I'd ask, maybe you would know. Thanks in advance.... Amanda
